Booking & Estimates
You can request a free, no‑obligation quote by filling out our online form or calling +1 (800) 795‑MOVE. We’ll ask about your move details (size, distance, dates) and provide either a binding or non‑binding estimate. For large or complex moves, we may schedule a video walkthrough.
A binding estimate guarantees the total cost based on the items and services you’ve disclosed – you won’t pay more unless you add services. A non‑binding estimate is an approximation; final charges are based on actual weight and services performed. We always explain which type you’re receiving.
We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks ahead for local moves, and 4–6 weeks for long‑distance or international relocations. However, we do our best to accommodate last‑minute requests – contact us to check availability.
Pricing & Payment
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), certified checks, money orders, and cash. A deposit may be required for large moves. Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.
No – we believe in transparent pricing. Your quote will clearly list all charges. Potential additional costs (e.g., long carries, stairs without elevator, shuttle fees) will be discussed and agreed upon before the move. We’ll never surprise you with fees.
Tipping is not required but always appreciated. If you’re happy with the service, a common guideline is $20–$50 per mover for a full day, or a percentage of the total move cost (10‑15%). You can also provide snacks, drinks, or a positive review!
Packing & Supplies
Yes, we offer high‑quality boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, tape, and specialty containers for fragile items. If you’re using our packing service, all materials are included. You can also purchase supplies separately – just ask your move coordinator.
You’re welcome to pack yourself, but we recommend professional packing for fragile, valuable, or awkward items. DIY packing may affect insurance coverage. If you do pack, ensure boxes are sturdy and not overweight (max 50 lbs per box).
For safety, we cannot transport hazardous materials (flammables, explosives, corrosives), perishable food, plants, or illegal items. We also recommend you personally carry valuables like jewelry, important documents, and passports.
During the Move
Yes! For all moves, we provide real‑time GPS tracking via our online portal or text updates. You’ll know exactly where your belongings are and the estimated arrival time.
No problem – we offer short‑term and long‑term storage solutions. Your items can be safely held in our climate‑controlled facility until you’re ready. Just let us know in advance so we can coordinate.
While damage is rare, we take it seriously. Notify us immediately – ideally on delivery day. All moves include basic liability; we strongly recommend purchasing full‑value protection for comprehensive coverage. Claims must be filed within 90 days.
International & Vehicle Transport
Ocean freight typically takes 2–8 weeks depending on the destination. Air freight is faster (a few days to a week). We provide tracking and updates throughout. Customs clearance can add a few days – we handle the paperwork to minimize delays.
Absolutely. We offer enclosed and open transport for vehicles, including motorcycles. Our carriers are equipped with tie‑downs and insurance. We handle all domestic and international vehicle shipping – just provide the details for a quote.
